Thinking of a Catchy Title Is Not Easy

Ladies and gentlemen,

As already teased by niLotiCus in the previous news article, here I am... lmao.

It was my intention to write this article in December of 2016. I could've even wished you merry Christmas and happy new year at that time. Obviously, that didn't happen. After that I planned to write something at the start of January. In that scenario, it would've still been possible to wish you a happy new year. However - in true eRRoR fashion I might say - I delayed everything until today. I honestly hope you had a terrible Christmas anyway.

The goal of this news is not to talk about my shitty habits, but to talk about the future of this page, the clan, THE FAMILY. As displayed by my actions described above, but also by the general activity on this website, InsideXIII and in the game itself, it's safe to say that XIII is not the number one anymore on our priority list :'(

...HOWEVER! That doesn't mean that we all should just generally not give a shit anymore about the game. It doesn't mean we can't take the time to drop a comment or whatever. It also doesn't take anything away from the fun we had or from the memories we made in the game, on Skype/Steam/TeamSpeak (other programs are available), etc.

Unfortunately, that doesn't happen. I'm at fault as well, but I'm trying to change that, because it's a damn shame that I don't take the time to write more about some of my most fond memories of XIII. I also find it fun to write stuff, even this somewhat boring news which I kept delaying till the end of times.

So yeah, my message to anyone is to just go ahead and post more. It can be about anything, like a memory of a clanwar or about a video. Hell, you could ask if someone is up for a game of XIII. You can comment in the shotoboxo or on this article. You could even contact me or Tico and write a news article yourself about something. There are no requirements really. Everyone can go ahead and do this for all I care. This offer is not exclusive for eRRoR assholes only.

It would be nice if we can have some more activity in this place.

eRRoR's Website Still Holding On

Hello? Anyone there?

It's not because I'm very much into survival horror that I'm yelling these words, but it's just that what used to be the XIII community is now pretty much gone. InsideXIII.eu is no more accessible, and I regarded the website and the people behind it as a pillar of the community. It's a shame.

eRRoR clan might not be a clan in the sense of an actively playing group of players but it now exists as a community for people who feel related to XIII and all that happened around the game.

I just ordered a new domain for the website to be more easily accessed. Just type errorclan.com in your address bar. www.errorclan.com works, too, and you can even use a secured connection by typing https://errorclan.com. It's not completely secure, like a bank, but at least you know you're communicating with real eRRoR clan.

I also would like to guarantee that as long as I'm hosting the clan's website it is available and all of the contents remain unchanged. Sometimes it's funny to read Quotes, forum posts from many years ago, and first news articles.

Be sure to check back some time as Ritchie might have something planned for us.

Goodbye

Hello everyone!
It's been a long time. I've been thinking about writing some news on this website for a while as there hasn't been a new article since 2012.

Today that's changing, although I'd been hoping to write positive news.

This week I've come to know that Dennis a.k.a DenD359 passed away in a traffic accident. DenD was very active in XIII throughout 2005 and 2006. He and his clan -Dominate n Destroy- (DnD) are important pieces in XIII's multiplayer history. I want to write a little bit about him in this news because that's the least I could do.

XIII for me, as for a lot of people on this website, was the first multiplayer game I played. When I joined -DnD- in 2005 I got introduced to what it really means to play a game online "professionaly" (if you can call it that). As a 13 year old I had to talk in English (a foreign language for me), abide to the rules and a certain attitude was expected. It was a beginning of a new life.

When I look back at that time I admire what DenD do with -DnD-, which by the way was his first and only clan. One of the clanrules was that you needed to use Quinn, MacCall or SPADS as your skin. It's kind of strange, but at the other hand whenever I saw Quinn in-game (every member used that skin) I associated that with -DnD-. The same thing applies to Platform 02 which they used to play all the time. -DnD- was also one of the few American clans and had members from Mexico, USA and Canada.

Another thing which I fondly remember were that DenD used his available members strategically in clanwars. He used Mr.orange or DoMiNaToRwhen USS was played or there was sniping to be done. He used Kamikaze in grenade maps and to host. He used me in FBI and so on. Every member also had a rank and with that rank came certain privileges, like the ability to accept clanwars or edit certain parts of the website.

DenD and me had our disagreements because we were immature (especially me!) and I left to join FES. When at FES, I'd say we had a good rivalry with them which peaked with a clanwar ending in 50-50. In that clanwar ClowN, haN and me used our 'secret weapon' which was Bristol Suites as a home map instead of the usual FBI or USS . It was a big thing at that time because no one could play more than a few maps well except for YKZA, thus everyone had only a few home maps.

I talked again with DenD in 2010 or 2011 and he was eager to start playing XIII again. I was hoping that he would join eRRoR so we could play together again, but unfortunately he didn't find the time to be online often.

For me, Dennis and his clan are legendary. I'll keep remembering him as he was vital for me to become the person I am today. I'll thank him for the memories and I hope he rests in peace.
